The cleaning essentials that you can get by with if you are going to do some regular cleaning or if you are planning to take up the task as a business includes a window cleaner, degreaser, all-purpose cleaner, furniture polish, tile cleanser, wood floor cleaner, paper face masks and dust cloths. There may be some other cleaners required for specific surfaces (such as marble) but this is basically the range required.

If you look at the local supermarket in the cleaning supplies aisle you could very well be overwhelmed by the cast array of products that are on display. A lot of these items are supposedly for specialized cleaning tasks. But really, you only need a selection of what’s available to do a good cleaning job in the house and the ones you need don’t necessarily come in all that fancy packaging either.

On top of the actual chemicals or cleaners you will also need some equipment such as cotton mop, sponge mop, dust mop, stepladder, some extension cords as well as plenty of rags and cleaning cloths. You should also be equipped with items such as hand brush, spray bottles, and a pair of rubber gloves. Buckets will also come in very useful and it is almost a certainty that the more buckets available, the easier the job will be.
